MFT Doctoral candidate, Jim Tillett, has been selected as the recipient of the 2023 Sally Bohland Award for Exceptional Leadership in Access and Inclusion. This award is given by Virginia Tech’s Services for Students with Disabilities. Jim has been a model for others in the areas of access, accessibility, and inclusion of disabled students. He has served as the Instructor of Record of the foundational Disability Studies minor course, Introduction to Disability Studies. This online course was intentionally universally designed and serves as a pathways course in Virginia Tech’s undergraduate curriculum. Congratulations, Jim!
