MFT faculty member Dr. Jody Russon and her research team were featured in the Virginia Tech News article, “Research Team to Study Mental Health Accessibility and Suicide Prevention Among LGBTQ+ Youth.” The article describes Dr. Russon’s latest research project, which is funded by the National Institute of Mental Health. The project will fuel referral resources for LGBTQ+ centers within urban and rural communities by studying suicide prevention and mental health accessibility for LGBTQ+ youth.
