Dr. Jody Russon, an Assistant Professor in the MFT doctoral program area, received the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention’s Young Investigator Research Award. This annual award was presented to Dr. Russon, at the 2021 International Academy of Suicide Research/American Foundation for Suicide Prevention Summit on Suicide Research, in recognition of her funded research on family suicide interventions for LGBTQ+ youth.
