Dr. Allie King, a recent graduate of the Virginia Tech MFT doctoral program area, presented her dissertation research at the 2022 International Conference on Eating Disorders. Her research project, “Therapists’ Use and Management of Eating Disorder Lived Experience in the Treatment of Clients with Eating Disorders,” explored how therapists with eating disorder lived experience (EDLE) use their EDLE as a resource in their clinical work.
