Dr. Dolbin-MacNab Presents at Anna Freud Centre

Dr. Dolbin-MacNab was featured as a speaker for the Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families conference, “Early Years Conference: The Many Faces of Parenting Infants.” The conference highlighted the impact that different family formations, backgrounds, and identities have on parenting, caregiver-infant relationships and child development outcomes. Dr. Dolbin-MacNab’s presentation was entitled, “Children Raised by Grandparents: Family and Contextual Influences on Grandchild Wellbeing.” The presentation provided an overview of the research on the well-being of children raised by grandparents, and guidelines for practitioners who work with grandfamilies.
