Dr. Russon recently presented to veterinary social workers with the University of Tennessee Veterinary Social Work Certificate Program on addressing suicide among veterinary professionals. Dr. Russon partnered with Trish Haak, Veterinary Licensed Clinical Social Worker at the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine (VMCVM). This presentation is a part of Dr. Russon’s continuing work addressing suicidal thoughts and behaviors among students in colleges of veterinary medicine.
